First Lady Martine Moïse posted a voice message on her Twitter account Saturday hours before getting surgery at Jackson Memorial Hospital, according to Le Nouvelliste.

Mercenaries shot Moïse at least three times on Wednesday around 1:00 a.m. at her home in Pelerin 5, Port-au-Prince. President Jovenel Moïse was shot at least 12 times and died on the scene.
