I don't ship either zeki or yume but I think you both are wrong about what you read. I've read the manga and it is clear to me that Yuki loved Kaname more than Zero. If he had lived Yuki would never have left him. It was a special first love whether he was good for her or not. I would like either one of you to show me proof positive that the mangaka was showing that Yuki loved Zero more and would have chosen him but you can't because she kept going back to Kaname no matter what he did always!

Kinda enjoy the fact u just said “you both” implying me and Kris, it’s cute. No, i mean that, cause we are a duo and proud.

Though, I know dear Kris answered you already and I honestly can’t be bothered by this load of bull. I’ve disputed all this a million times already. Obviously, you’ve read Kris and my past asks already but failed to understand what we’re saying so hey, i’m not going to humor you, bruh, especially not to repeat everything my dearest friend just disputed in her own ask you copied and pasted to her with.

So, just take Kris’s response as mine too since we’re both like-minded people when it comes to vk. [x]

Though, I’d just add to Kris’s post that, yes, yes Hino clearly eludes to the fact that if Zero spoke up about his feelings for Yuuki earlier, or even told her to stay by his side and not leave the academy with Kaname at the end of arc II, Yuuki would’ve stayed.

More specifically, right after Yuuki separates from Zero and breaks down crying about their situation, she figures out that Zero actually was in love with her and kicks herself for not catching on sooner cause maybe thing would’ve been different.

Then, The extra chapter explicitly shows Zero expressing his regret for not holding onto Yuuki more dearly during the time he was saying goodbye.

Hino actually humors the “what if” situation, as if a clear indirect indication that if they actually did try to express things earlier or try to hold onto each other, they would’ve been together.

But ofc, you’d need good reading comprehension skills to pick that up because this manga wasn’t always just the text written but also contextual deductions. So, I think that’s about it, tootles.
