William Eskay Signs in the Major Arena Soccer League

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – Former William & Mary men's soccer standout William Eskay signed and is playing professionally in the Major Arena Soccer League (MASL) with the Harrisburg Heat. Eskay becomes the 34th former Tribe player to join the professional ranks and the seventh to play professional indoor soccer.

Eskay signed with the organization on Nov. 26 and has appeared in all four matches for the Heat. He notched a goal in his pro debut against the Utica City Football Club on Dec. 1.

During his Tribe career, Eskay was a three-time All-CAA selection, leading the Green and Gold to a CAA Championship in 2017. He started all 76 games of his W&M career, finishing with 58 points on 19 goals and 20 assists. Eskay was an All-CAA Second Team in 2017 and a United Soccer Coaches all-region third team pick in 2016.

Eskay joins Andrew Hoxie as Tribe players competing in the MASL this season. Hoxie is in his seventh season in the league and fourth with the Baltimore Blast. He helped the Blast to three-straight championships (2016, 2017, 2018) and has four goals and an assist in leading Baltimore to a 3-1 mark.
