A one-of-a-kind golfing experience is coming to Metro Detroit.

Instead of sitting down to watch a baseball game inside Comerica Park, Detroit Tigers fans can register to play a round of golf inside the ballpark this fall, according to the Detroit Tigers and Upper Deck Golf Wednesday.

Participants are expected to tee off from the upper level of the ballpark with custom greens on the field, organizers said.

Standard golf clubs are expected to be provided at each tee box, but guests are welcome to bring their own clubs.

However, guests cannot bring drivers or fairway metals for safety purposes, according to organizers.

Golfing is slated to take place over three consecutive days following the Tigers season. Those dates are not known yet.

Tee times are scheduled to be offered as early as 7 a.m. and as late as 9 p.m., but booking in advance is required, according to organizers.

Live music, beverage specials, and golf challenges at multiple spots throughout the park are also included.

Those looking for premium golfing can register for a VIP experience.

This experience includes VIP tee times, free entry into driving, chipping and putting challenges, and complimentary food and drinks, organizers said.

Registration for tee times are slated to open in early September, but fans can register for early access online.

Tee times are limited and are anticipated to sell out, organizers said.
