JACKSONVILLE, Fla — This weekend in Maryland, the forty-first National Fallen Firefighters Candlelight and memorial Service honors and remembers the heroes who lost their lives the previous year.
Three members of the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department are among the 148 firefighters who will be remembered.

Among them are local JFRD heroes Captain Thomas Barber, engineer Mike Freeland, and lieutenant Mario Moya. All of their families will be in attendance.
