You could spend triple for a nicer firebox. However this is a well designed product and it works. Fire it and it doesn't warp so it won't work again. Bang for the buck is spot on. Would I like to see US manufacturer be able to surplus direct and cut or the multiple vendors jacking the cost up, yes I would. With current cutting machines available I could see a garage starter business do well if they could direct buy sheeting. You would hope one small business could sell the same quality or better for the same cost and make a living. You shouldn't be able to mass produce and ship 13k miles and over sell us. Bring back smelting near major cities. Bring back manufacturing. Make America (the) Greatest Again
