Male supermodel David Gandy knows how to work a runway—and we're not just talking about high-fashion catwalks. "Within a year I take, on average, 80 to 90 flights," Gandy writes in a column for the Telegraph. "Multiply that by the 13 years I've been in the fashion industry, and then add the various other personal flights I take and, if my math is correct, that means I've flown approximately 1,250 times in my life." Along with these flights come all the trappings of life on the road—hotels, taxis, restaurants, and more. And, as it turns out, just because you're really, really, really ridiculously good-looking, it doesn't mean you're immune from bad customer service. Yes, meanies happen to all of us. Here are some of my favorite points and quotes from Gandy's column:

· No one will let David Gandy use his frequent-flier miles. "I have 800,000 of the things, yet I have received some strange responses when trying to use them over the years: You can't use air miles at the airport; your request is too short notice; you have the wrong class of ticket; you have the wrong type of booking; computer says no (OK, I may have made that last one up, but I often think they should just use that phrase)."

· His favorite first-class cabin is on Emirates. They know what they're doing and spoil you completely."

· He prides himself on good service. "I've always prided myself on providing good service and not just in my current job as a model. From working at a dog sanctuary at age 15 to delivering pizza, I always endeavored to go beyond what was expected of me and beyond what I was paid to do."
