Tips for Visiting Graceland

Use these tips to get the most out of your Graceland experience!

Before you visit

• If you select the option to have your tickets emailed to you, be sure to print your tickets or have them available on your smartphone to avoid having to wait in line to have your tickets reprinted. Note: There is a fee of $1.50 per ticket should you need to have your emailed tickets reprinted on site. 

• If you choose to have your tickets held at Will Call, please go to the Will Call window at the ticket office to claim. You will be required to show a photo ID matching the name on the reservation and the credit card used to purchase the tickets in order to claim will call tickets or to have emailed tickets reprinted.

• Pay for Advance Parking online prior to your visit so that you will not need to provide payment upon arrival at Graceland.

• Sign up for contactless payment options such as Apple Pay and Google Pay that you can use at ticketing, in gift shops and in our restaurants.

• Graceland is typically less busy in the afternoons, especially after 2:00 p.m, so you can minimize wait time by visiting in the afternoon. The last mansion tour of the day begins at 4:00 p.m. or 5:00 p.m., depending on the day of the week and time of year. Check our Hours of Operation for more information.

• The GPS address is 3717 Elvis Presley Boulevard.

• For our iPad tour of Graceland Mansion, you may bring your own headphones (standard jack) if you choose - or we will provide you with headphones that have been rotated and sanitized in between uses. 

• Bring a sharpie. You can sign the famous Graceland wall to leave your mark.

• There is a special period of time for free-admission walk-up visits to the Meditation Garden at Graceland, where the grave sites of Elvis and his family are located. Visitor walk-up times are daily from 7:30 a.m. - 8:30 a.m. All guests must enter the gates by 8:30 a.m. to walk up, and guests must leave the mansion grounds before Graceland tours start. There are no walk-ups on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. 

When you arrive

• Graceland has a secured visitor parking lot for a fee. The GPS address is 3717 Elvis Presley Boulevard.

• Know where you're going with this Graceland property map.

• Discounts are available for AAA members, military personnel, adults 65 and over, youth ages 5-10 and Graceland Insiders. Valid membership and/or photo ID showing proof of eligibility must be presented at the time of purchase. Discounts do not apply to previously purchased tickets.

• Your tour is scheduled for a specific hour and tour number. Should you miss your scheduled tour time, we will do our best to accommodate you on a later tour pending tour availability. Due to limited tour capacities, however, this option may not be available. If you arrive earlier than your Mansion tour time and purchased a ticket tour option that includes the new Elvis Presley's Memphis exhibit and entertainment complex, you may start your visit with the exhibits in this complex, including Elvis: The Entertainer Career Museum and Presley Motors automobile museum. 

• A tour of the mansion takes about one to one and a half hours. The Elvis Experience tour, which includes the mansion, car museum and several other exhibits, takes anywhere from two and a half to three and a half hours.

• For Print-at-Home ticket holders with tickets that include a Graceland Mansion tour, please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled tour time and check-in at the assigned location inside the Ticket Office listed below:

  • VIP Ticket Holders: check-in at the VIP Podium, located around the corner from the Ticket Office ATM. After 3pm, please check in at Guest Services for assistance. 

  • Ultimate VIP Ticket Holders: check-in at the Ultimate VIP Podium, located near the entrance to the Welcome To My World Gift Shop.

  • Elvis Experience Ticket Holders: Proceed directly to the theater area located inside the Graceland Ticket Pavilion.

• The VIP tour is offered daily with benefits including front-of-the-line mansion access, all-day pass, admission to the VIP exhibit and VIP lanyard. 

• Graceland offers the iPad tour in a choice of languages: English, Spanish, French, Italian, German, Mandarin Chinese, Japanese, Dutch and Portuguese. 

• Cameras are allowed, but no flash photography is permitted. Video cameras may not be taken inside the mansion or inside any gift shops or attractions.

• Graceland does not provide wheelchairs for general guest use. It is highly recommended that guests needing wheelchair access either bring their own wheelchair for touring or make arrangements for rental of a wheelchair with one of the following companies: Medical Mobility: 901-683-3543 or Access Medical: 901-767-5400. All gift shops, restaurants, visitor facilities and exhibits at Elvis Presley's Memphis and the Graceland Exhibition Center are fully wheelchair accessible. The mansion tour is wheelchair accessible except for two rooms in the basement. The airplanes tour is not wheelchair accessible.

• The interior of the Lisa Marie airplane is not wheelchair accessible. However, a video of the story of the planes is available and the exterior may be viewed.

While You're Here

• Be sure to eat at one of our two restaurants: Vernon's Smokehouse for the best Memphis BBQ or Gladys' Diner for classic American fare. Note that the Ultimate VIP Tour includes a meal at Vernon’s Smokehouse. You may enjoy your meal before or after your tour. To obtain your meal tickets, please check in at the Ultimate VIP Desk. If you want to try Elvis' favorite Peanut Butter and Banana Sandwich during your visit, be sure to stop by Gladys' Diner.

• When posting your photos to social media, be sure to use #Graceland and you might find yourself spotlighted on our site.

• There is a taxi cab stand at Graceland located at the covered pavilion near the Graceland visitor parking lot.

• Be sure to visit The Enesco Gift Shop and Gallery located on the Graceland campus, open daily from 10 am to 6 pm.
