Fetus in fetu: Child develops inside stomach of 40-day-old infant in Motihari
A rare case of a fetus in fetu has been reported from Motihari where a child developed inside the stomach of a 40-days-old infant.

In a strange case that has been reported from Motihari, an embryo was found inside the stomach of a child, leaving everyone in shock.
Recently, a 40-day-old baby was brought to the Rahmania Medical Center in Motihari for treatment. The doctor was told that the area near the child's pelvis had been bloated. Due to the bloating, the baby was not able to urinate properly. To find out the reason behind the bloating, the doctor got the child examined.
But the child's test results left everyone in shock as they revealed that when he was in the mother's womb, a fetus had developed in his stomach.
Talking about the same, Dr Omar Tabrez from Rahmania Medical Center said that in medical language, it is called 'Fetus in Fetu' or the presence of a fetus in the stomach of the child.
He said that this is a rare case which happens in 5 patients in 10 lakh cases.
OPERATION SUCCESSFUL
When the child's condition started deteriorating, he was admitted to a private hospital for treatment. After the operation, the fetus was removed from the abdomen of the child.
Dr Omar said that the child, who became a witness to the unique story of nature, is absolutely fine after the operation.
He has been discharged from the hospital.
