  • Manzana Products Co., Inc. Announces Strategic Move to Washington State   We are excited to share important news today about the future of Manzana Products Co., Inc. Our strategic direction involves consolidating all operations from Sonoma County to the State of Washington by the end of 2025. Manzana is proud of our long, rich history producing apple sauce, apple juice and apple cider vinegar in Sonoma County. Since 1922, the Manzana facility in Sebastopol, CA has processed fruit and apples. During the apple boom of the 1940’s, Manzana was one of 10 Sonoma County apple processing plants. To continue providing the highest quality organic products and meet consumer needs, Manzana must continue to modernize and expand. After careful analysis and consideration, Manzana determined Sunnyside, Washington to be the best location.  Our enhanced facility will be in the heart of the Yakima Valley, which is our main source of apples, have higher production capacity to meet our current customers’ needs and allow ample room for product and customer expansion. The new facility will house our cup and jar lines, a new bottling line, expanded pouch lines and have the ability for increased shifts on all lines. The facility also offers amenities such as a dedicated rail spur. We are making this announcement early, to provide our employees, local apple growers and the community with ample notice of the closure. We anticipate our move will be completed by the end of 2025. As positions are reduced, we are committed to providing our employees with resources to help them through this transition. For our local growers, in order to support them during the transition, Manzana is making a five-year commitment to continue buying Sonoma County organic apples that meet our quality standards. This strategic move is in alignment with our company's Mission and Vision, and we believe that this strategy positions us to provide our customers with unmatched quality, variety, and innovative products that will take us to the next level. We believe that this strategy positions our company to provide our customers with unmatched quality, variety, and innovative products, setting us apart from other apple manufacturers. We express our gratitude to Manzana's rich history here in Sonoma County and the enduring partnerships we've cultivated over the years. Anticipating the journey ahead, we look forward to sharing our promising future with you from Sunnyside, Washington.
