Leo Fender truly started a revolution 75 years ago. Today, 30 years on from his passing, on 21 March 1991, more people are playing guitar then ever before. Playing music changes the world. It’s with us during every good time, bad time and everything in-between. It’s the soundtrack to our life. Talk about making an eduring contribution. Leo, you made a huge difference that endures today. Thank you. Play Guitar, Play Bass, Play FENDER!
Since 1974 I’ve pretty much always had at least 1 fender guitar. I have 6 now....and I can’t even venture a guess as to how many more I’ve had over the years ! Also, all the amps...mostly ones I wish I still had ☝️...although I have a lovely harem of amps even now ! Yeah, I’d say Leo Fender was a significant person in my life 🎸
I love my strats!!🎸❤️🙏🏽
I was in his workshop at G&L in 1999! They left it like it was. I can imagine, that Leo would be very disappointed how fender company is doing now and I guess Jimi Hendrix, too!

As a young musician I was in Music heaven commencing my early electronics training at Fender / CBS musical Instruments in the early 70’s at Homebush, loved my Telecaster Thin line- Stratocaster and Super Six Amp, I still miss my mentor Leo Donohoe, he taught me so much. Thanks Leo Fender I am sure my life would have been so different if I had not had this opportunity.
🎸 Fender, one of my absolute favs. Branding at its best, delivering on a brand promise, year in year out.
Genius.
