Taye Diggs has one of the most impressive resumes of any black actor. He’s starred in so many classic films and TV shows.
Taye’s first big break came from starring in the Broadway hit musical Rent. He met his future ex wife Idina Menzel while working on the Broadway production, and they also starred in the film adaptation.
Taye solidified his status as a sex symbol and leading man when he starred in How Stella Got Her Groove Back.
The Wood, Chicago, Brown Sugar, Will & Grace, Private Practice, etc…Taye Diggs resume is stacked with many classic films and TV series. Taye just reprised his role as Harper Stewart in the series The Best Man: The Final Chapters, which wraps up the classic film series.
Taye stays booked and busy, and still stars on the CW series All American as Billy Baker. I love seeing so many of the top black actors of my youth, like Taye Diggs still working prominently in Hollywood.
