George W. Bush’s daughter has made a name for herself as an American news personality, author and journalist.

She is also a co-host on Today with Hoda & Jenna. In a recent episode aired earlier this week, Bush Hager decided to FaceTime her father. He picked up and exclaimed, “Hody! Yeah, Hody!” referring to Bush Hager’s co-host, Hoda Kotb.

“I thought you all were cute,” he said when asked about his thoughts on their performance of a Christmas song. “I think your dance moves were well choreographed and I think the sound guy did a good job of making sure your voices were subdued.”

Upon leaving office, the 43rd president of the United States returned to Midland, Texas, per Miller Center. But what has his daughter been up to since?

Bush Hager married her husband Henry Chase Hager in 2008. Per his bio on the Bush website, Henry is the managing director at Waterous Energy Fund. He previously worked as a staff assistant to the senior adviser at the White House to George while he was president, from 2001-2003.

Bush Hager was the one to propose to her then future hubby, she revealed on Today. “I proposed to Henry after several cocktails,” she said in August. “I was 22 years old, my sister was standing with us, we were dancing and Barbara just started shuffling backwards. She was like, ‘What is happening here?’ We’d only been dating three months. He told me he loved me and I’m like, ‘Me too! Let’s get married!’”
