i don't get it

why didn't you just watercool your whole system instead of phase change on just the cpu? and another thought, we really need to see some more pictures please! i sure hope that you aren't lugging that around to lan parties though, i'll bet that thing weighs a ton!

With such a machine I really doubt you have a girlfriend, can't imagine you can afford one. You probably sold a kidney already for it.

Gotta love those Atlas disks. Even though I think U320 is the limit with 5 15K disks in RAID 0, unless that controller has multiple channels and they're spread amongst them.

No kidney, but six years of my life (BSEE/BSCS). A decent paycheck also helps :)

Yes, there are two scsi channels - two disks on one and three disks on the other. The 15K rpm really helps to reduce acces time.

The thermodynamic limit of water cooling is the ambient temperature. For lower temps one must use either a chiller or vapor-compression refrigeration. For a microprocessor to achieve really high frequencies, the chip must be cooled far below ambient temperatures. On the otherhand, the water cooling kept the ATIx1900s stable at a relatively cool 35oC using 693/798 OC settings.

Well this case isn't that big. I'd say it's less than 2 feet high and basically same width as regular ATX case. It's probably a fulltower case, Lian Li or something. But the job he did is awesome! 10/10!!!

Sry im all for overclocking but not in that way because of the enviromental effects that thing has on our planet i read a huge article on that sort of cooling and it sux the cost just aint worth the extra mhz :( gave it a 1
